Cathrine holds a degree in International Business & Financial Management from Cheltenham, England, and spent eight years in Oslo's banking and commercial real estate industry before co-founding Panthera Africa, a nonprofit big cat sanctuary, in 2014.
As a leader, she has broken even within three years and built a positive baseline by years four and five, then led her team and organization through both the pandemic and a devastating wildfire — holding strength, courage, motivation, and inspiration for her people through extreme hardship, when the very foundation of the business was under threat.
She leads with integrity, honesty, compassion and respect as non-negotiables, which she has embodied through her highly experiential years. Her recognitions include being named Women of the Month in Tourism during Women's Month.
